Adding an Axis IP Speaker - (FW Verison 3.2 & higher)

This guide will outline how to connect the AXIS Network Speaker to a CHeKT Bridge using firmware version 3.2.0 and up.
Important Notes: 
  1. The Audio Talk-Down service for the site must be enabled.  Click here for directions.
  2. Assign the speaker a static IP address is optional since the Bridge can use a discovery methed to detect IP changes.
  1. Adding the AXIS speaker to a Bridge.

  2. Select a Bridge and Channel to manage the Speaker Connection

  3. Allow the Bridge to discover the AXIS IP Speakers on your network and select the desired IP Speaker

  4. If the speaker is still in its initial configuration with the factory password, the CHeKT portal will prompt you to set a new password.

  5. Enter a custom password and save these changes

  6. Be sure to store your company password.

  7. Once you have provide the Speaker Name, you can authenticate the IP Speaker

  8. Add desired messages to the site and test the messages with your speaker.  Then "Add"

  9. The setup process is complete.  Press "Done"
