Unlock a unified operator experience with Alarm.com and CHeKT’s integrated video monitoring solution. Monitoring station operators can now view and respond to events from Alarm.com cameras (including proactive Video Analytics alerts and intrusion alarms) in the CHeKT Monitoring Portal. This integration streamlines workflows, reduces false alarms, and equips operators with advanced tools for fast, effective responses. In this article, we will walk you through how to Link Dealer Portal Accounts, Bind Customer Site Accounts, and Sync Devices and Emergency Contacts.

  1. Log in to the ADC Partner Portal.
  2. Hover over My Business, then click Integrations.

  3. In CHeKT, click Learn More.

  4. Click "Next"


  5. Click Link Accounts.

  6. Enter your CHeKT dealer login information, then click Log in.




Binding the Alarm.com customer account to a CHeKT site account

Notes
Prerequisites for Alarm.com Integration:  
1.All CHeKT VCPs must be running the latest CHeKT Firmware (Minimum 6.0.0.1)
2. Site must be "Disarmed" in CHeKT
3. Partitions must be enabled for the site

  1. Log in to the ADC Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. In Customer Information, click Bind to a Site ID.

  4. In Select a Method: 


    • Click Choose Existing CHeKT Site to link an existing CHeKT Site.
      1. Click Next.
      2. Use the Site Name or ID search field to find the associated CHeKT Site ID.
      3. Click Next.

    • Click Create New CHeKT Site to create a new CHeKT Site.
      1. Click Next.
      2. Use the CHeKT Monitoring Station dropdown menu to select a compatible CHeKT receiver.
      3. Click Create Site.

  5. Review the account integration information, then click Done.

Sync Emergency Contacts

Alarm.com emergency contacts can be synced with the CHeKT account once it is linked with the Alarm.com customer account.

  1. Log in to the ADC Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. In Customer Information, click the CHeKT Site ID number.

  4. Click Sync Emergency Contacts and wait for the Emergency Contact Sync - success message to appear.

Unbind a CHeKT Site ID from a customer account

It is possible to unbind a CHeKT Site ID from its corresponding Alarm.com customer account using the Partner Portal.

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. In Customer Information, click the CHeKT Site ID number.
  4. Click Unbind.
  5. Click Unbind again to confirm the process.
Verify when a customer account was bound or unbound

The customer account's Account History will have information for when the account was bound to or unbound from a CHeKT Site ID. This information can be found using the Partner Portal.

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. Click History.
  4. Click Account History.
  5. Adjust the Date Range as desired.
  6. Using the Action Type dropdown menu, click CHeKT Integration.
  7. Click Search.

Configure the CHeKT Bridge Arming Method for bound customer accounts

If the Alarm.com customer account is bound to a CHeKT Site that has a bridge, the bridge's arming method can be configured to follow the Alarm.com security panel's arming state or to arm independently from the panel. This setting can be configured using the Partner Portal.

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. In Customer Information, click the CHeKT Site ID number.
  4. In CHeKT Bridge Arming Method, click Edit.
    • Select Arm/Disarm based on the status of the Alarm.com security panel so that the bridge arms and disarms whenever the panel arms or disarms.
    • Select Arm/Disarm independently of the Alarm.com security panel so that the bridge's arming state is unaffected by the panel.
  5. Click Save.

Manually sync devices with the CHeKT Site

It is possible to manually sync video devices on the Alarm.com customer account with their CHeKT Site any time after the initial setup process using the Partner Portal.

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. In Customer Information, click the CHeKT Site ID number.
  4. In CHeKT sync, click Sync Devices.
