Creating an Mobile App User Account for Sites
Creating accounts for your customers
With the end-user CHeKT app your customer can now monitor and control their home or business in real-time and from anywhere. CHeKT's Visual Security System and automation solution gives your customer instant awareness and remote control for the places they care about most. Please follow these steps to invite your customer, providing them with access to their site via the CHeKT app.
Inviting your customers to the site for app access.
- Go to the Customer's account in the CHeKT Dealer Portal.
- Click on the "App Users" tab
- Click on the "+ Invite App User" tab
- Select the permission from the "Membership Group" drop-down menu.
- Type the customer's email and click on "invite".
Registration Process for the Customer
- Once you have invited your customer they will receive an email (see below) with the information needed. This includes a generated password which they will need to reset to one of their choices, their username will remain as their email, and a direct link to download the app from the corresponding mobile OS.
- By Clicking on Click to join Your Account Site from the email invitation the customer will be redirected to the auth.checkt.com login page. To initiate the registration they will need to copy and paste the generated password from the email and click log in.

- On their initial login, the customer will automatically be prompted to reset their password. We strongly recommend they reset their password to a new one. Clicking on Request to reset your password will generate an additional email to confirm the change.

The email will have a Click Here link that will confirm the change and redirect the customer back to their browser to perform the change of password. Once the password is successfully reset, they will be redirected to their new online account.chekt.com profile. From here they may now proceed to login through the Chekt.com app.
