Dice Integration Setup Guide
The integration with Dice has two specific requirements. Setting up a subscriber account to access CHeKT during an alarm, and setting up the the DICE XML Receiver.
1. Setup CHeKT Video on a Subscriber Account
- Go to Data Entry
- Select the Add Ons Tab
- Select the Video Data Entry Tab
- Click the Add button at the bottom of the grid, this will give you a pop up to add a video type
- Camera Type:URL Video
- Type: CHeKT
- Save
2. Setup your XML Receiver in the CHeKT Dealer Portal.
- Go to the Dealer Settings
- Integration: XML Alarm Receiver
- Click New Reciever
- Select Dice as your connection Brand
- Name: Enter a name for your XML Receiver Setup.
- Description: Enter a description for your XML Receiver Setup.
- Enable This Adapter: This must be checked to enable the receiver.
- Visibility: External Dealers/Sub-Dealers: If this is selected then other dealers can use this XML Receiver and select your account as their monitoring station.
- Require Passkey: This will force another dealer to know this passkey if they need to use your account as their monitoring station
- URL: This is the address to your XML receiver provided by Dice.
- Username: Username provided by Dice to connect to the XML Receiver.
- Password: Password provided by Dice.
