Manually Integrating with the CHeKT Video Monitoring Platform

CHeKT has developed a method of working with the following alarm automation platforms to automatically launch the CHeKT monitoring portal when an alarm signal is processed by an operator.



If you are not using one of the above platforms it is still possible for your operators to have access to the CHeKT Visual Monitoring Portal during an alarm.

If your automation software can automatically open a predefined URL then it can be automated, if your alarm automation platform can not do this automatically, then you can provide this information to your operators on the subscriber account  and they can manually open the URL by clicking or copying and pasting it into a Chrome web browser.  

Where do I find the URL for my operators?

From within your CHeKT Dealer portal every new site you create has a unique URL and web path assigned.  
  1. Go to one of your created sites.  (How to create a new site?)
  2. On the Information screen  copy the site URL.
  4. Take this information and paste it into the subscriber account in your automation platform.
  5. Ensure this information is visible to operators when they are processing alarm events.

Alarm Processing:

  1. During an alarm event, instruct your operators click on this URL or paste it into a web browser.
  2. The operator will now be able to view and process the video events in CHeKT.
