Enhanced Video Event Clip - MP4

Enhanced Video Event Clip - MP4

Monitoring portal users now have an available improved video stream available with each generated snapshot clip at no additional charge.

Snapshot Event Clip vs Video Event Clip:

As an addition to the already trusted snapshot clip delivered to the operator in the event of an alarm, operators will now have access to an extended, higher quality video clip spanning ~20 seconds with some improved "pre" and "post" alarm tuning.

This enhanced function is already enabled in your monitoring portal.

When a new event comes in, you will still receive the snapshot clip at the same speed in the fashion you are already familiar with, but a few seconds later the  MP4 Video Stream will become available under the "video" toggle:

The MP4 Stream serves as an informational augment to that snapshot event but not a replacement:

Snapshot Clip:

Pros:
-Fastest Delivery and presentation speed available (< 5 Seconds in most cases)
-Brings the tightest focus on the moment the alarm event occurred

Cons:
Lower video quality
Less frames/second (video fluidity)
Less "pre" and "post" alarm to better focus operator attention on event trigger

MP4 Video

Pros:
-Increased video quality
-Higher Frame density for more granular investigation of event clip cause
-Increased total available video time (~20 seconds)
-More pre and post alarm information to accompany snapshot clip (~10 s)

Cons:
-Slower Delivery
-More video for operator to view to
