Services and Appointments

There are pending improvements in this area of the dealer portal 
Installation and Service calls are at the heart of every security service provider and the ability to create and track of apointments while mainting the privacy of your clients its important and we at CHeKT strive to provide that directly from the dealer portal. Before you can create your first appointment, you will need to create at least one service type within a service group, "Installation" group is already added in your Services Settting by default.  Once you setup one or more service types, you will also need to add the technicians who can perform the services. Please follow the instructions below on how to do so. 

Create a Service

1. Click on Dealer Settings
2. Select "Services"
3. Click Add a Group in the top right corner to create a new group (Installation is added by default)
4. Click Add a Service in the top right corner.
5. Give the new service a name, a service cost, a time frame for services and buffer, and select the group its going to be added to.
6. Click create 


7. Once you've created a Service Type click on the service group to find the newly added services 
8. Click on the new service to bring forth the  settings on the right side of the window.
9. Click to drop down the menu under Technicians, select either "Only selected" or "All Dealer Users"
10. Type the name or email of the technician(s) who will be athorized to perform this service. 
11. Click Save.


Create an Appoinment

1. Select the Customer Site where appointment is being added
2. Click on the Appointments tab
3. Click on Create or Add Appointment


4. Fill out the appointment details 
5. Click Create to save


If a technician is not in your search list of technicians, ensure the technician has been add to the service type as shown above.  If technician is not selectable from the services, ensure the technician has been added as dealer user, Click Here for instructions on that.
