The CHeKT platform supports the upload of a site map and the locations of the pertinent installed devices, providing the operator the ability to do a quick "Virtual Guard Tour" of the property in the event of an alarm.
Setting this is only a couple of quick steps.
First, Navigate to the "Devices" tab on your new customer. You will notice an "Upload Site Map" button in the empty field on the right:
Clicking that will open a "browse" window and allow you to select an image of the site. Note: The system is compatible with all standard picture formats (JPEG, PNG, etc), but not with PDF files.
Once you select your site map file and hit "open," it should populate in that empty field:
Now, you can place the camera(s) in their correct location. Highlight the IP camera on the left, and click the "Map Icon:"
You will notice (when that map symbol is clicked) that an Icon representing the camera is now visible over your uploaded site map:
Simply move the camera icon to the correct location on the map; the software has it tagged as to which of the learned in devices will populate when clicking that icon.
With the camera Icon Placed (the yellow and blue buttons change the width and distance of the "viewing area") click save changes.
