Video Monitoring Portal - End User Verification
Sending an end-user an SMS Verification text.

Learn how to setup contacts for the SMS verification
Steps from the CHeKT Monitoring Portal:
- While processing an Alarm Event or Playback Event, the operator can click the “Verify Alarm” button.
- This will display the Emergency Contact List. From there, the operator can select “Verify Event”, which sends a verification SMS link to all listed contacts.
- Once the request is sent, you will be able to view user activity, including when a contact is actively checking the event, dispatch or disregard event.
By default, users have 2 minutes to respond to the verification message. This response window can be adjusted in the XML alarm code library.
- If an end user responds within the allotted time, their response will appear on your screen.
During this process, the end user receives a video on their mobile device and can choose to either “Disregard” or “Dispatch” the alarm.
The SMS Verification Link is only valid for 3 days.
