While processing an Alarm Event or Playback Event, the operator can click the “Verify Alarm” button.
This will display the Emergency Contact List. From there, the operator can select “Verify Event”, which sends a verification SMS link to all listed contacts.
Once the request is sent, you will be able to view user activity, including when a contact is actively checking the event, dispatch or disregard event.
By default, users have 2 minutes to respond to the verification message. This response window can be adjusted in the XML alarm code library.
If an end user responds within the allotted time, their response will appear on your screen.
During this process, the end user receives a video on their mobile device and can choose to either “Disregard” or “Dispatch” the alarm.
The SMS Verification Link is only valid for 3 days.
