Camera mounts to Bridge, but stays "Offline
If you are able to mount your camera to the CHeKT Bridge, but the camera status stays "offline" it could be due to a couple of factors.
- The Camera does not have a secondary stream: The CHeKT Bridge will only pull the secondary video stream off of a camera. If the secondary stream is disabled or the camera does not support the secondary stream a camera will mount successfully, but remain "Offline"
- The CHeKT Bridge cannot adjust the FPS of the secondary video stream: When a camera is mounted to the Bridge, a bandwidth optimization test begins. This test is designed to ensure video uploads to the CHeKT portal during an alarm. The FPS on the secondary stream is automatically adjusted to 6. If the Bridge is unable to make this adjustment, then the camera will appear "offline".To fix this, connect to the setting of the camera and manually changes the FPS to 6.
