Creating a CHeKT Signaling Adapter

Creating a CHeKT Signaling Adapter

Creating a signal adaptor allows the CHeKT cloud to send alarm signals with video event URL's to your alarm receiving software.  This adapter will be used to create a Monitoring Station record by security dealers.  If your company is the monitoring center and the security dealer, then you will create a Signal Adapter connection and a Monitoring Station record.
The Monitoring Station Record sets specific security dealer settings like Reciever Number, Line Number, DNIS and other details.  Click here to see how to create a Monitorng Station Record.

  • Receiver Account Number: Optional account number to report connection details.
  • Add URLs:  This is your public IP and port information or URL into your automation receiver. In the event you elect to use the CHeKT VPN server, a CHeKT support employee will need to provide this connection string.

  • Heartbeat: In seconds, how often our cloud will need to send a heartbeat signal to your XML Receiver. (Note: For some automation platforms a receiver account number is required for this feature.)
