- The CHeKT Bridge can be accessed via the web browser from a device on the same Local Area Connection. This is not normally required for basic set up, but offers another method to interface with the unit and can allow for configuration when the device is no longer connected in the dealer portal.
Accessing the Web Page
Open the Network Tab of your Bridge
Click the "Admin Tool" Slider
On this page, you will see a clickable link to the Bridge Local IP, as well as the Daily Admin Password updated in the portal:
Click The URL or enter the depicted Local IP into the web browser, and have the daily password on your clipboard.
- If the Bridge has never been registered online in the portal (and thus hasn't received the daily Portal Password) the Password is the Entry Key of the unit.
- The most recent password assigned to the unit should be displayed in this admin tool page, even if the device is offline.
- In the event the Bridge is offline , the Emergency IP will go active. Also depicted in https://support.chekt.com/portal/en/kb/articles/bridge-network-tab#3_Emergency_IP, the bridge webpage will become accessible at this Unique IP when the Bridge can no longer communicate with the cloud. Each Bridge has a unique Emergency IP.
