CHeKT IP Speaker Installation Guide

Configuring the CHEKT 30w IP Speaker/Horn: CKIPS30W

  1. The CHeKT IP Speaker has a factory Static IP Address of:  192.168.50.196
  2. Factory Login Credentials are set as "admin" and "chekt" prior to configuration
  3. The speaker is a POE device. To use the full 30w capacity of the speaker, please ensure the speaker is powered by a POE+ switch.

First, the connect to the speaker at the depicted static IP and enter the provided credentials:



Access the "Basic" tab in the speaker settings menu on the left side:


Scroll down the the network module, and set the desired DHCP or Static IP parameters and save:



Access the System Tab:


Locate the Security Module and set the desired login credentials:



Now log into the CHeKT Dealer Portal and access the Site Details tab for the customer that the speaker will be connected to:



Under the Add menu, choose Add IP Speaker 

Select the desired Bridge and Channel:

Clicking the Channel will prompt the auto discovery. Click the desired IP Speaker:

The  Authentication Tab will open:


Enter the Desired Name and Credentials defined in the Ip Speaker Setup:

Notes
The Port will autofill


And Authenticate. 

Once connected, you will receive a success message and be prompted to configure site-based messages:



From this screen, a test can be sent by selecting any of the available messages. When Complete, click add:




 A Success message will appear; feel free to add another IP speaker or click Done to close the prompt:


The newly added speaker should now be displayed in the device list:
