These directions detail how to create predefined audio messages for your sites.
Important Notes:
- The Audio Talk-Down service for the site must be enabled. Click here for directions.
- The Bridge must be installed and wired to a local amplified speaker system. Click here for information.
- Ensure the Bridge is updated to the most current firmware version. See the list here.
- To manage Audio Messages on your sites, go to: Site -> Site Settings -> Talk Down Messages.
Adding Audio Messages to your Dealer Account
1. Dealer Settings -> TTS Messages
2. Add "Google TTS" or "File Upload" as the preferred message type. *These types require 2.7 Firmware or greater on Bridge hardware.
(Standard TTS messages are an old voice type and not recommended. However, this is the only message type support on Bridge hardware using firmware versions less than 2.7.)
Google TTS messages give you control over the voice settings and language.
1. Select "Add google TTS" after you click on the "Add" tab.
2.Customize and Test Sound after Typing Custom TTS Message into the provided box:
Creating a Playback File Via Upload allows you to upload a customer audio file to play.
1. Click on the "Add to File Upload" option in the submenu, under "add:"
2.Drag and Drop any Audio file (MP3, M4A and .Wav File Support)
3. Use the "Speak it" Function to test prior to completion
Assigning Messages to Sites
1. Click on the "Assign to sites" tab.
2. Select the desired Message to be applied to a site or more; or if you want to apply all available TTS Messages click & select the Top box (see crossed and circled).
3. Click on the "Next" tab.
on the next window.
4. Click and Select the Sites where the Message will be applied or if you want to choose all available sites click & select the Top box (see crossed and circled).
5. Click on the "Assign" tab
6. Click on the "Okay" tab in the next window.
The Audio Message is now assigned it to a site.
