Cloud-Based Arming & Stand-Alone Visual Alert Configuration

Setting Site Arming Method

A CHeKT Site can be installed in one of with two arming modes, and these methods determine the type of access a customer has with the CHeKT End-user mobile app and how the Bridge will arm and disarm.
Idea
Understanding the Arming Modes: Alarm Panel Pairing vs. CHeKT Video Security System
  1. Alarm Panel Pairing: With this programming method, the bridges are armed and disarmed by an on-site security system. This is the default for all sites. With this method, the end-user can access the video, but can’t arm or disarm the CHeKT Devices with the application. Wiring Directions: Wiring the Alarm Panels and Zones to the Bridge
    1. Individual Bridge Voltage Arming: Each Bridge on the site is armed and disarmed independently with the arming pin of the Bridge.
    2. Primary Bridge Voltage Arming: The Primary Bridge of a site is armed and disarmed based on the voltage change. All other Bridges of the site will follow the armed state of the Primary Bridge. The Primary Bridge is the first Bridge of a site, typically Bridge 901.
  2. CHeKT Video Security System: With this programming method, the Bridges are programmed to operate as an independent security system. The CHeKT Bridges on a site become the video security solution for the customer.  The site is armed and disarmed by the customer mobile app or by an arming schedule.
