Creating a CHeKT Signaling Adapter
Setting up your XML Alarm Receiver in the CHeKT Dealer Portal.
- Go to the Dealer Settings
- Under Integration, Select XML Alarm Receiver
- Press "Add" in the top right.
- Select your automation platform as brand
- Name: Enter a name for your XML Receiver Setup.
- Description: Enter a description for your XML Receiver Setup. "Optional"
- Enable: This must be checked to enable the receiver.
- Visibility
- Private: A receiver connection only used for your specific monitoring center.
- Public: Allows your receiver to be visible to other CHeKT dealers. They can use this XML Receiver and select your account as their monitoring station.
- Only to sub-dealer: This option is for wholesale contract centers who will use the sub-dealer function of CHeKT.
- Require Passkey: This will force other dealers to know this passkey if they need to use your account as their monitoring station. Recommended for public receivers.
- URL: This is your public IP and port information or URL into your XML receiver. In the event you elect to use the CHeKT VPN server, a CHeKT support employee will need to provide this connection string.
- Username: Only used by automation platforms that require authentication.
- Password: Only used by automation platforms that require authentication.
- Heartbeat: In seconds, how often our cloud will need to send a heartbeat signal to your XML Receiver.
