DW VMax A1 2.1MP DVR - (RTSP Mounting)

The Digital Watchdog VMax A1 2.1MP DVRs can be used with the CHeKT Video Verification Solution by utilizing the "Video Stream URL" Mounting Method. 
Below, we will provide the approved Video Stream URL for the VMax A1  2.1MP DVR and the steps to mount streams to the CHeKT Bridge.

Use the following RTSP URL structure:

Example: Video URL stream URL: rtsp://192.168.X.X:9010/rtsp/unicast/live/profile-1_2
  1. Port 9010 = The Current TCP/IP Port of your DVR may differ.
  2. profile-1_2 = [1=channel#]_[2=stream_source] This is Channel 1 and SubStream Source
  3. profile-3_2 = Channel  3 and Substream Vidoe Source
CHeKT recommends using SubStream Video Source [2] for all channels.   

Stream Prep in DVR for Mounting:

  1. To Create an RTSP URL, you will need the IP Address and Network Port of the A1 DVR.
  2. Login to the VMAX DVR.

  3. Identify the IP Address and Port Number.
  4. Video URL stream URL: rtsp://192.168.100.20:80/rtsp/unicast/live/profile-1_2

CHeKT Portal Camera Mounting: 

  1. With the RTSP URL noted from above, go to the CHeKT Portal.
