Mounting an Axis Camera to CHeKT Bridge (FW 3.2+ Guides)
This guide will outline how to connect an AXIS Camera to a CHeKT Bridge using firmware version 3.2.0 and up.
Important Notes:
- Before Bridge Firmware 3.2.0 an AXIS camera could not be mounted without these three important steps.
- With a Bridge running Firmware 3.2.0 and higher most AXIS camera can be mounted using the steps below.
- Adding an AXIS IP Camera to the Bridge.
- Select a Bridge and Channel to manage the camera connection.
- Allow the Bridge to discover IP Cameras on your network and select the desired camera.
- If the camera is still in its intitial configuration with the factor password, the CHeKT portal will prompt you to set a new password.
- Enter a custome password and save these changes.
- Be sure to store your company password
- Select Authenticate to the camera.
