ExacqVision Server Mounting Camera Channel – (RTSP Mounting)
The CHeKT Bridge can mount cameras directly from an ExacqVision server. In applications where the IP cameras are located on a segmented camera network, the CHeKT Bridge can pull the video stream from the camera through the RTSP protocol of the ExacqVision server.
The Exacq server must be a Pro or Enterprise version and have software version 19.12 or higher
The steps defined below do not include learning a camera into the Exacq server.
Adding a "Substream/Multistream" for the desired camera channel.
Select your camera channel
Add Multistream
Enter a name for the new stream.
Go to the Camera Recording Menu
Edit the Frame Rate, Resolution and Format
Frame Rate: 6
Resolution: Less than 720p
Format: H.264
"Apply" changes.
Go to the Server RTSP Settings
If necessary enable the RTSP Server and set a password.
The RTSP Service Status will show: Running
Note the RTSP URL for the Substream that you added. Example: CHeKT SubStream 1 = (rtsp://172.16.242.220:8554/270139648)
If the RTSP address has "localhost", you will need to replace this with the local IP address of the server.
