Setting Bridge Entry\Exit Delay Timers

Setting Bridge Entry\Exit Delay Timers

The CHeKT Bridge supports six zone types.  These zone types operate like zones types on alarm panels.
  • Entry/Exit Zone: This zone has an Entry/Exit Delay on the trigger.  This requires the Bridge Arming Input to be wired.  See instructions here.
    • When Exiting, the Bridge will ignore any triggers on this zone for 60 seconds from the time of arming the panel. (Bridge Default Settings can be changed.)
    • When Entering, the Bridge will ignore any triggers on this zone for the first 60 seconds after the first trigger.  If the Bridge is not disarmed in 60 seconds, (Default time can be changed), the first event video will be uploaded to the Monitoring Portal as an alarm.
  • Follower Zone: A follower zone will behave like an Entry/Exit zone if an Entry/Exit zone has been triggered first.  If not, this zone will be an Instant zone.
  • Instant Zone: When the Bridge is armed this zone will upload all alarm triggers as events to the Monitoring Portal.
  • 24-Hour Zone: This zone will upload events to the Monitoring Portal when the Bridge is Armed and Disarmed. (If you need video verification on any 24-Hour zone, then this zone type must be used,)
  • Exterior Zone (Instant): Same Behavior as the Instant Zone described above, but with an independent alarm code for specifying custom automation response for outdoor detectors (E136)
  • Exterior Zone (Entry/Exit) Same Behavior as the Entry/Exit zone described above, but with an independent alarm code for specifying custom automation response for outdoor detectors (E134)

How do I change my Bridge Entry & Exit Delay?

  1. Go to the Bridge Settings

  2. Select the Alarm Tab

  3. Click Entry or Exit Delay to adjust the time to match your alarm panel timers.
