Setting the Bridge Alarm Zone Numbers

Setting the Bridge Alarm Zone Numbers

A CHeKT Bridge supports up to 4 cameras and 4 alarm input devices.
Once a camera is mounted to the Bridge you will notice an "Alarm Zone Number"  The default zone number for each channel is as follows:
  • Bridge Device ID with A, B, C, D.  As you can see in the image below.

This default alarm zone number will report as the zone number into the automation platform until they are changed.

**It is essential to update the zone number for each channel to match the zone number of the alarm panel.  This ensures that when the central station receives an alarm from the alarm panel on a specific zone, the operator is taken directly to the camera of that zone.

For example, if the Front Door is zone 2 in the alarm panel and it is looped through the first alarm input on the Bridge, then in the Bridge settings you will mount the camera looking at the front door to the first channel on the Bridge and change the alarm zone number to 2.
1. Go to the Channel Settings (gear icon will appear when the mouse hovers over the pointed area)

2. Select the Alarm Tab
3. Click the "Sensor Zone Number" row.

4. Delete the default zone number and enter the zone number matching the alarm panel zone number.
5. Press Save Changes.
