Enabling The Talk Down Service Plan

This service allows the central station operator to send a Text-To-Speech Message over a local speaker system at a site from the CHeKT Monitoring Portal. 
Alert
  1. The Bridge must be installed and configured to connect to a local amplified speaker system. Click here for information.
  2. The Talk Down Service can also be used over an IP Speaker.

Steps to enable The Talk Down Service:

  1. Access Your Dealer Dashboard
  2. Select Pertinent Customer Site
  3. Click the "Site Details" tab
  4. Click the "Audio Messages" subtab
  5. Click "Edit" on the right side 

    Make sure Audio Messages Services is Enabled



Warning
(Note, if you cannot access this module, you may need to contact the central station that manages your CHeKT service and request the change)
  1. Go to you're monitoring portal and make sure "Site Broadcast"  is now available.
