Configuring your XML Alarm Library

Configuring your XML Alarm Library

To modify your Global Dealer Alarm Settings:

Your default Contact ID alarm code settings for alarm signal integration can be customized for your dealer account.
Notes
This is done by navigating to your Dealer Settings  > Integration  > Alarm Library for XML Integration > Choose [Bridge Alarm Input Codes] or [CHeKT Defined Input Codes]

Bridge Alarm Input Codes:
These are the alarm codes defined for the Bridge Zone Types. - Learn More able Bridge Zone Types

If your alarm panel is going to deliver the alarm signal these can be disabled by default.  If you want redundant signal delivery, then you can enable these and the CHeKT Bridge will send an alarm signal to the central station when one of the CHeKT Bridge zones are triggered. Alternatively, If you plan on using the CHeKT Bridge on a customer account without an alarm panel, then we recommend you setup the zone setting on the Local Alarm Library.

CheKT Defined Alarm Codes: These are alarm codes within the CHeKT Ecosystem  - More information can be found here

These are a list of alarm IDs that will be sent to your automation software in the described trouble condition. It is very important that these alarm ID codes are entered into your automation platform. The CHeKT Defined codes can be enabled or disabled, and some codes can be edited by clicking on the Alarm Row.

The default library is applied to all new customer sites as you add them. It is best to define these settings before you begin adding new customers.  The settings can be changed at any time and each customer account has an account level override for the dealer default settings.

To modify your Local Dealer Alarm Settings:

Notes
Site settings can be adjusted by going to - Customers > [Choose your Site] > Settings > Alarm Library > CHeKT Defined Alarm Codes

The CHeKT Defined codes can be enabled or disabled, and some codes can be edited by clicking on the Alarm Row just as the Global Dealer Alarm Settings, but in this area it will only affect the Customer Site you're currently editing.
